Student Dependents
Student dependents may be added to a student's record in Workday to access eligible university services and benefits.
Medical Insurance
- International student dependents (F-2 and J-2) are required to enroll in the BYUH Student Medical Benefit Plan.
- Domestic students may also add eligible dependents to the student medical plan.
- Enrollment and plan changes can be completed at the BYUH Health Center (LSB 287).
- Students must maintain full-time enrollment (12 or more credits) to keep medical coverage for themselves and their dependents.
Dependent ID Cards & Benefits
Eligible dependents may apply for a Dependent ID Card, which provides access to select campus services and facilities, including:
- University Library
- Athletic facilities
- The HUB (when accompanied by the student)
- Other eligible campus services and benefits
Note: Access to campus services and facilities is subject to university policies and eligibility requirements.
